For Students

Practical
|
- Be prepared with the right equipment - you must wear all required gear to spar
- Make sure your equipment is complete, undamaged, and free of improper parts or patching

Responsible
|
- Only spar with an instructor present
- Get permission to begin and follow all instructions

Involved
|
- Your partner's safety is your responsibility. Always make decisions with your partner's safety as your top priority
|

Mindful
|
- Respect your partner and stay in control. Make zero contact until you have demonstrated control and earned the instructor's permission to make light contact
- Always calibrate your speed and power to the experience level of your partner

Effective
|
- Learn and practice both offensive and defensive moves by taking turns
- Clearly and openly communicate with your sparring partner
|
For Parents

Practical
|
- Students must wear the following gear: Headgear, faceshield, mouthpiece, chestguard, gloves, footgear. Male students must wear a cup

- We have a no tolerance policy for excessive force. Students are not allowed to make any contact until they have demonstrated control and earned the instructor's permission for light contact
- Please bring any questions or concerns to the instructor's attention

- Report any medical conditions or changes to physical health so we can make appropriate modifications
|

- Please share with your child's instructor any concerns you or your child may have
